Landscaping

The landscaping in our yard officially began today.

Kenny started working on the brick patio. He set and compacted the gravel and covered it with sand. The bricks to use on the patio are laying on our yard. So do the bricks for the edging around the house. The weather tomorrow is supposed to be nice and dry - same as it was today - and the plan is for him to finish the patio.

After the patio he will start working on the brick edging. Some time in there he will prepare the ground between the edging and the house and we will be working to put stone in there. We plan to use the same stone as we did in the old house - 1.25 inch Mississipi river stone.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather...
