Day 4 - Toronto

Today was our first full day in Toronto. We decided to visit two famous attractions of the city; Casa Loma and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). We cannot do more than two attractions a day, so we will be coming back on our way to the states to visit the zoo and have dinner at the CN Tower on the 27th of the month.

Casa Loma was interesting. It was actually built in the 1900's to resemble a medieval castle. We spent at least three hours there.

We then went to the ROM. Had lunch at the McDonalds across the museum. Canada is expensive; we spent almost $30 fir lunch! The museum was very good; there were 5 levels, one level hosted ancient Egyptian and Greek artifacts. In the 2nd floor they had a great dinosaur exhibit. On the lower floor they had a special exhibit on Darwin. I wish we had more time to spend there... We made it back to the hotel around 6pm (the museum closed at 5:30pm.).

After a visit to the pool (we were again alone there :-)) we are now resting and getting ready for the trip to Montreal tomorrow.

More tomorrow!
